Holy Spirit part 2

The Holy Spirit is the master communicator – massively huge communicator.  When i started to think about this, it just totally amazed me.  When Jesus was introducing the Holy Spirit to His disciples, He talks about how the Holy Spirit will

  • teach,
  • remind,
  • convict &
  • guide us, among other things.

Jesus also tells us that the Holy Spirit will speak to us what He hears from our heavenly Father & that the Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus.

It seems to me that the Holy Spirit is communicating with us perhaps more often than we realize.  I pray that today, you & i would be sensitive & receptive to the Holy Spirit speaking to & communicating with us – beyond our biases & limited understanding. 🙂

Can you think of some times when the Holy Spirit has communicated w you?  What was the outcome (s)?

  1. wondering about what you said in chapel about the move of the Holy Spirit in the 70s and 80s. What was that like? I was a Baptist back then.

    • elizajanners – you might want to hang out w rita thomas in the church office as she could give you some great 1st hand experiences from the 70s & 80s. She would be cool to have lunch w, esp for this conversation 🙂

      • interesting because she and i were talking about it and she was saying she also was a baptist then and had the same question!

  2. We were wondering what your experience was like then and how you feel the move of the Holy Spirit was different then.
Of course the Holy Spirit was always present in my life, Baptist or otherwise…
    Anyway, enough about that…
Sarah, I pray the greatest blessing over you and your ministry. You are an awesome, anointed woman of God with your own destiny and position in the kingdom.
It was a great honor to work for you and to be able to coordinate your events. I love the whole idea of saving moses and the twins. Wish I could have stayed to watch that awesome idea grow. I hope you all know how much I loved being there.
I know God has a plan for me. Surely he shakes us up sometimes but great is His faithfulness!
I’ll be watching and praying for you.
The best is yet to come!
    Jan
